The Husband's Secret

The Husband's SecretThe Husband's Secret by Liane Moriarty
My rating: 3 of 5 stars

The paths our lives could have taken... the hidden secrets that life keeps from us.
What a deep thought for this book...

It all starts when Cecelia finds a letter by accident that says to open on the event of her husband death. But he's very much alive. The temptation of opening Pandora's box is too much & the letter is open changing everything.

We also get the story of two other women, an older lady, Rachel who lost her daughter to a murder nearly 20 years ago & Tess who found out her husband & her best friend / cousin have fallen in love.
The story intertwines these 3 ladies stories together into a really interesting story.

I have to say, I really did like the surprise of some of the story lines - some of them totally caught me off guard, which I give credit to. & I enjoyed the story - but for some reason, there was a lot happening in each story, with a lot of names & it was easy for me to get confused & have to stop & think which story I was in & who was who.

I finally ended up getting the hang of it towards the end of the book, but at that point, I was just kinda tired. I do like the way Liane Moriarty does ties up stories though. I definitely did enjoy it - but still liked Big Little Lies better then this one.
... & I have another Moriarty book on my Kindle just waiting for me to jump in again.
